Name: "Cody"
Sex: Male
Breed: Poodle
Size: S-M

Bio:
Cody is a healthy, playful, energetic poodle. He is between 1 - 2 years old, weighs about 20 pounds and appears to be house broken. He is neutered and has had his shots. Although he can be very shy in a new environment, he comes out of his shell once comfortable and becomes very loving and playful. He behaves well with children and most dogs. An introduction may be required for homes with other dogs to make sure he gets along with them. He tends to chase cats. He has successfully learned tricks and has done an amazing job learning to do home-made agility courses. Cody is a lot of fun and would be happy in an active home with children. He needs a secure backyard with adequate fencing. Cody is crate trained.

Cody arrived at the Fairmont shelter with Lola (see Lola’s bio here). The dogs are very close. We don’t know if they are siblings but it seems likely. It’s not necessary that they be adopted as a pair, but if you are looking for a pair, please consider Lola too.

Name: Jabba
Sex: Male (neutered)
Breed: English bulldog
Size: Med

Bio:
Jabba is a 45-pound bundle of pure bulldog energy with brindle and white markings. Jabba knows some basic obedience and enjoys playing a game of fetch when not romping in the yard with is fellow foster dogs. Jabba would do best in an adult home or a home with older children as he does like to jump up and could knock a small child down. Jabba will chase cats and small animals. Jabba loves all kinds of attention, walks well on leash, and rides great in the car. He is housebroken using a dog door. Potential adopters should be prepared to discuss their knowledge of the breed as well as their plan to continue Jabba's obedience training. Jabba has recently has surgery to correct a cherry eye (a displaced tear duct). His eye is still a bit swollen but he is expected to make a full recovery.

Name: "Blessing"
Sex: Female (spayed)
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Age: 1 yr - 3 yr

Bio:
I am a 3-year old Tortoiseshell girl looking for a new home. I was a stray when my foster mom took me into her home with her other cat. My foster mom loves me so much but I don’t want to share her with her other cat!!! I long to be the only pet in a home so that I can get all the love, attention, care, peace, and safety that I'd been missing.
I am a loving, sweet, inquisitive little girl who loves to play with just about anything! Give me a box, some ribbon, lots of room to run and I am one happy kitty cat! I love to talk to anyone or anything that will listen to me! I would do best in an adult household (older children would be okay too).

Name: Brownie
Sex: Male (neutered)
Breed: domestic short hair
Age: 2 mo - 6 mo

Bio:
Brownie was a stray in the neighborhood and he was taken in by a family who can't keep him. Please help this kind family find this cat a forever home. Here is what the 10 year-old daughter wrote about Brownie:

"I’m Brownie. I love to play with my toys. It is so purrrrfect to me when you pet me. I start to purrrr…please pick me, I really want a home. I want someone who can always play with me and pet me. Sometimes I’m shy but it’s just because I need someone to make me feel safe."

If you adopt Brownie you will save a cat and make a little girl very, very happy.

Vicki's former owner, a FOFAS volunteer, passed away but we're optimistic that Vicki will find another home filled with love.
